Clients typically engage BDA for one of two reasons.

The first is that they are experiencing a major business problem or issue that, despite much effort and a variety of approaches, remains a thorn in their side, inhibiting growth, efficiency, maximum profitability, etc.

Second, and more commonly, clients discover that what worked to grow their company from Point A to Point B simply isn't working to take them from Point B to Point C. Many times, the owner's answer to this problem is to do the same things-only harder-which is not only ineffective but also runs the risk of burning out the management team.

In either case, the first step in the application of the BDA Way is what we call Discovery. BDA's system is designed to evaluate your current business practices and situation thoroughly to devise the ideal strategy for your unique situation.

Generally, an on-site visit to your facility by BDA President Tim Miller is the first step in the consulting process. There is something about a face-to-face meeting at a client's facility that simply cannot be replaced by any other form of communication. Given that the solutions to the client's problems are always within the client's business, a site visit allows critical observations and insights that cannot be made any other way.

Answers to the questions "Where are you now?", "Where are you going?" and "What's standing in the way?" provide direction for the consulting process and evolve into a Marketing Plan or specific Action Plan. Client meetings are held weekly for 60-90 minutes to discuss and make decisions on open items and hold each other accountable for progress

Work that is required to implement the Marketing Plan or any marketing activities decided upon will be carried out by BDA, Inc. outside of the weekly meetings and progress reports made at regular consulting meetings.
